SHAWNEE COUNTY—A Kansas man died in an accident just after 10p.m. Wednesday in Shawnee County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Buick Lucerne driven by Eduardo Ramirez, 49, Topeka, was eastbound on 46th Street just west of Kansas 4. The driver failed to negotiate the curve. The car traveled into the northbound ditch, vaulted over a private drive, up the embankment and rolled. EMS transported Ramirez to Stormont Vail where he was pronounced deceased. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
